Wow - this was GREAT!! I used a little extra coconut oil because my son is too thin. It's wonderful! I love how creamy it turned out - way better than store-bought.

George Carlin did not write this:

Variations: Numerous versions are prefaced with this:

What a difference a sad event in someone's life makes.

GEORGE CARLIN (His wife recently died...)

Isn't it amazing that George Carlin - comedian of the 70's and 80's - could write something so very eloquent... and so very appropriate.

Origins: In May 1998, Jeff Dickson posted the 'Paradox of Our Time' essay to his Hacks-R-Us online forum, loosing it upon the Internet. The essay has since been attributed to comedian George Carlin, an unnamed Columbine High School student, and that most prolific of scribes, Anonymous.

George Carlin very emphatically denied he had had anything to do with "Paradox," a piece he referred to as "a sappy load of shit," and posted his comments about being associated with this essay on his own web site.

I totally agree! We don't do Santa or the Easter Bunny. I watched the Passion all by myself on Friday night because Dave had to work, and then fasted all day Saturday. I broke my fast with a communion meal of unleavened bread and grape juice. Easter has always been a really special time for me. Sad that it was such a solitary time this year. I missed the service on Friday because the kids were sick and then had to go to church by myself because Dave stayed home with them. But at least I got to go to church on Sunday, and it was really great worship! (Maybe because I had actually prepared my heart beforehand-should do that more often!)

i live in California and this scares the hell out of me. the school systems here a entirely over packed, we have the highest student teacher ratio in America! I honestly believe this is going to take away the rights of parents. They are already lowering the budget in this state and getting rid of many programs and teachers. this is just going to be so much worse.

i do not think our government has the right to tell me or anyone else where our kids will go to school. i myself have thought about homeschooling until 5th grade. i am not sure why they have come about this law. we will see where this goes and how long it lasts. i really don't think that it will pass
